Standing on tiptoe, her body arched, she reaches both arms toward two threads of ink falling from the top of the frame, her fingers closing around them like a light she's trying to hold on to. Her head tipped back, she lets her long white hair fall to the ground behind her, while ink keeps streaming down her arms and legs.

Specimen of the Abyssia species: octopuses who reach their arms toward a light that no longer reaches down to them, suspended between two waters, never rising back up.
