On all fours, body arched forward, she joins her hands in front of her muzzle as if for a prayer she doesn't dare speak. Her bushy tail coils into an almost perfect circle behind her, and ink drips from her clawed paws to the ground.

Specimen of the Écholane species: wolves who howl for a pack that no longer answers, and hear only their own echo return.
