Pâlore · Flowing Ribbon
In profile, she holds a ribbon of ink in her hand, dripping slowly to the ground, while two tall antler-like plumes rise above her head like a living crown. A tear slides beneath her eye, and her feather train coils far behind her, a single eye-marked feather unfurling to the side within a swirl of white hair.
Specimen of the Pâlore species: peacocks with dimmed feathers, who still display themselves out of habit, before an audience that will never come again.
