Pâlore · Feather Halo
Standing, one hip tilted slightly, she carries behind her a halo of black feathers closed into a perfect circle, like a wheel that no longer opens except to close in on itself. A tear slides down her cheek, and a small tuft of feathers crowns her forehead, while her long white hair spreads across the ground until it fades into the ink.
Specimen of the Pâlore species: peacocks with dimmed feathers, who still display themselves out of habit, before an audience that will never come again.
