Abyssia · Frozen Dive
Head first, she dives at a full diagonal, feet pointed upward as if held by an invisible thread, her wide-open eyes fixed on nothing. Her arms hang lifeless on either side of her face, and her long white hair spreads across the ground in a wide, silent pool, while ink keeps streaming all around her.
Specimen of the Abyssia species: octopuses who reach their arms toward a light that no longer reaches down to them, suspended between two waters, never rising back up.
Gallery-quality print on thick matte paper, intense black and white with no color to let the silence speak. Available in A2 (16.5″×23.3″) or A1 (23.3″×33.1″), free shipping. Part of the "Les silences qu'on porte" (The Silences We Carry) collection.
