Pâlore · Raised Wing
Standing, she raises a dark wing to shoulder height, its feathers dripping ink to the ground, while a fan of long feathers stands straight up above her head. A tear slides beneath her eye, and her train stretches far behind her in a wave that curls in on itself, an eye-marked feather closing at the end like one last gaze.
Specimen of the Pâlore species: peacocks with dimmed feathers, who still display themselves out of habit, before an audience that will never come again.
