Attendrie · Ink Rain
Standing still, she lets one wing fall along her body in long tapered feathers down to the ground, while the other stays hidden behind her. A single tear slides beneath her eye as ink falls in a fine rain beside her, streaking the air with long black lines. Her slender beak points slightly upward, and her white hair flows straight down behind her to the ground.
Specimen of the Attendrie species: cranes who watch a sky that no longer brings anyone back, standing on one leg out of habit, so as not to forget how to wait.
