In profile, crouched on folded legs, she lets her head fall to one side, eyes half-closed, a tear beading down to the tip of her chin. Her rounded lioness ears show through the white strands covering her face, while her mane spreads out behind her to the ground in wide waves, and her tail, its tip bound with a tie, rests curled before her in the spilled ink.

Specimen of the Ternelle species: lionesses with a faded mane, who still carry themselves like queens, but rule over nothing anymore.
